Job Description

An Office Assistant at Qkapital Corp is a dual role position that combines responsibilities of Loan Opener and Lead Qualifier. The Office Assistant is responsible for managing the front office and assisting with loan processing by opening loan files, qualifying leads, and performing data entry tasks. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient loan process by effectively communicating with clients, loan officers, and underwriters.

Responsibilities:

Loan Opener:

Open loan files, collect and review necessary documentation, and prepare loan files for processing

Accurately enter data into the loan origination system

Communicate with clients, loan officers, and underwriters to obtain missing information and documentation

Ensure loan files are complete and ready for underwriting by reviewing them for completeness and accuracy

Lead Qualifier:

Qualify leads by conducting initial assessments of clients’ financial and creditworthiness

Review credit reports and assess clients’ income and assets

Communicate loan options to clients and assist in selecting the best mortgage loan for their needs

Prepare and present loan applications to underwriters for approval

Provide clients with detailed information about loan terms and conditions

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience with loan processing and data entry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to analyze financial data and credit reports

Good understanding of mortgage loan products and services

Detail-oriented and organized

Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan processing software
